These are the "Event Planner’s" of the Walk Committee. The Logistics subcommittee is responsible for ensuring all event day components are well-planned and that participants have an excellent event experience at Walk - from the parking lot to the finish line.
Responsibilities include:
- help design and plan event festivities areas, start finish line area and Walk route.
- help coordinate the stage program and the event entertainment
- help recruit, train and manage day of volunteers
The Logistics Committee should consist of those who pay a great attention to detail, those who have excellent project and time management skills, and the ability to creatively solve problems and remain calm and collected under pressure.

Description
The Alzheimer's Association Tennessee Chapter has offices in these cities; Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Memphis. We have a team of volunteers across the state leading the way in program delivery, fundraising and advocacy.
Most volunteer opportunities can be done from your own home during your own selected hours.

- Orientation or Training
- The Walk Planning Committee Orientation is Saturday, March 7th, 10 - noon at The Chef's Table in Cedar Bluff. Breakfast/Lunch will be served.
- The Planning Committee meets on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 6-7 pm. The different sub-committees will meet at a seperate times/locations based on preferences.
