The Friends Program is a non-profit organization that recruits, trains and manages volunteers to meet community needs. The mission of the agency is to strengthen communities by building relationships that empower people, encourage community service and restore faith in the human spirit. We work toward accomplishing this mission by providing youth mentoring, emergency housing for families and fulfilling the desire of seniors and retired people to actively contribute to the community.

We are specifically looking for volunteers to be mentors for at-risk youth in Merrimack County NH. Many of our mentees are youth at risk, or new Americans who are still learning about their new home. We have long list of children waiting on a positive role model, someone who could change their life! Contact us now about our upcoming orientation! Apply Today! Mission Statement

The Friends Program strengthens communities by building relationships that empower people, encourage community service, and restore faith in the human spirit. Mentor a Child...Enrich Two Lives

Founded in 1975, the Friends Youth Mentoring Program provides children, ages 6-17, residing in Merrimack County, with a 1:1 mentor who serves as a positive role model and a supportive advocate. Our mentors are the ones who change the lives of these children, who otherwise wouldn't have that positive role model or that person who is their personal champion! We have a high need for volunteer mentors!
