Imagine the way you feel after you have had a long day and you come home to your furry friend. You could bring that same feeling to someone else that would appreciate it.
Promedica is looking for people willing to share their certified pet therapy animal with our patients. Our patients live in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, as well as their own homes.
As a pet therapy volunteer, you have the opportunity to brighten a patient's day while bringing them many other benefits.

- After the initial training is complete, it is up to the volunteer how much time they are available. There is no minimum requirement.
- We do a background check, tb testing and training for the person. The animal will need to be therapy certified and shots up to date.
