enCourage Kids a 501(c)(3) organization, opened its doors and hearts to children battling chronic, serious, or life threatening illnesses and injuries. Since 1985, we have helped humanize healthcare for children and their families by resourcing impact-driven pediatric programs and supporting the Child Life Community. Our unique programs offer relief from the constant burden of treatment, hospital stays, and doctor appointments, and have created exciting family outings that are free of charge to make everyday life a little more fun.
enCourage Kids Foundation is gearing up for our 35th Annual Gala on Wednesday, March 11 th and we would be thrilled to have you volunteer! Please see below for the details on the event.
35th Anniversary Gala Details:
- Date/Time: Wednesday, March 11, 2020 | 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Location: Cipriani Wall Street | 55 Wall Street, New York, NY 10005
- Description: This exciting night is our biggest fundraising event of the year! It is an evening full of delicious food and drinks, as well as an inspiring message about enCourage Kids’ work.

Description
enCourage Kids is a non-profit, that helps to humanize healthcare for children and their families by resourcing impact-driven pediatric programs and supporting the Child Life Community. We provide resources, tools, and direct support to 285 hospital partners across the country to help to improve the health and well-being of their pediatric patients and make hospitals a better place to get better. This includes art, music, and pet therapies, sending entertainers to provide distraction for children at their bedsides, sending cuddly Bears to young patients for comfort, and more.
Additionally, we offer family outings for children facing medical challenges that help them to connect with others like them and take a break from their daily stresses. We envision a world where every child-regardless of the difficulty of his or her medical journey-experiences joy, hope, resilience, and healing.
