Looking for a way to help beagles find their forever homes? Lead the volunteer effort at Beagles of New England States (B.O.N.E.S.) and make a difference in an animal's life today!

The Volunteer Coordinator manages the B.O.N.E.S. Volunteer Program.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit potential volunteers
  • Work with directors and volunteers to fill open positions within the organization
  • Maintain volunteer-related policies and procedures, and volunteer job descriptions
  • Maintain and update volunteer files and volunteer databases
  • Coordinate Assistant Volunteer Coordinator’s duties

Qualifications

  • Must sign a B.O.N.E.S. volunteer contract or already be a B.O.N.E.S. volunteer
  • Must reside in New England
  • Strong computer skills - ability to maintain simple databases and email communication
  • People-oriented
  • Strong motivational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Detail-oriented and timely in follow-up
  • Commitment to the mission of B.O.N.E.S.

B.O.N.E.S. Board of Directors

Our mission is to rescue, rehome, spay/neuter and provide necessary medical care to beagles in need in the New England Area. We endeavor to improve the quality of life for beagles in New England through outreach and education programs.

B.O.N.E.S. was founded in 2003 for the purpose of rescuing beagles and placing them in forever homes. B.O.N.E.S. is registered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization.

B.O.N.E.S. is an all volunteer organization, comprised of dedicated people who want what is best for beagles in their area.
