We are presently looking for volunteer Puppy Raisers to train, socialize and provide exposures for our puppies in the Atlanta, GA area. Interested volunteers will be responsible for the full time care and training of a puppy until they reach the age of approximately12 months. Patient Paws will provide training and guidance. Interested applicants can complete the Volunteer Application on our website at www.patientpaws.org.
Patient Paws Service Dos, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity based in Alpharetta, GA. Patient Paws provides Facility Dogs to children's hospitals and senior assisted living centers and Service Dogs to recipients with mobility related disabilities, at no cost to them.

Puppy Raisers will be responsible for the 24/7 care of our future service dogs. Shared assignments may be available. We are also able to house the puppies at our facility, as needed.
Prior experience training Service or Facility Dogs is helpful but not required.
