Habitat for Humanity-MidOhio has recently launched The Playhouse Project, a program that will allow Habitat MidOhio to partner with sponsors to build playhouse for local families- providing children with a safe place to play and imagine what home means to them. Funds raised through this program go towards building new houses right here in Central Ohio.

Help is needed at our warehouse to prime playhouse kits prior to our Playhouse Project Blitz Build this spring! Tasks will include painting the bases, trim, and walls for each playhouse kit. All supplies will be provided.

  • Shift options are Tuesdays 5:30-8:00pm, Fridays 9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm, and some Saturdays 9am-12pm (timing can be flexible if needed).
  • Group size: up to 10 volunteers (age 14 & up)

Description

Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), and the Central Ohio Affiliate, is an ecumenical Christian housing ministry. Habitat affiliates work locally in communities around the world to select and support homeowners, organize volunteers, and coordinate house building.

Supporting Habitat for Humanity - MidOhio is Habitat’s ReStore, a retail outlet that accepts and re-sells reusable home improvement materials to the general public. Revenue from sales directly offsets Habitat’s administrative costs and assists in both eliminating substandard housing and creating homeownership in Central Ohio.
