The Alzheimer's Association is seeking empathic, passionate and effective listeners with a demonstrated commitment to participants' needs that can create a safe, open and confidential environment for those affected with Alzheimer's dementia or another dementia. As a support group facilitator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that participants feel comfortable sharing their feelings, thoughts and experiences in a combined effort to better cope with and manage the shared problems of dementia. Support groups are held once or twice a month, and usually meet for a period of 1 to 2 hours.
