March Food Drive Campaign 3/6-4/18
We are gearing up for our annual March Food Drive Campaign and we need 5-10 volunteers to volunteer with us on Fridays 10am-2pm to sort and receive donations.
If you have a group of 10-15 people, we can also schedule a Friday 4-6pm or Saturday 9-11am, 3/6 to 4/18, for a sort and stock project too!
You can volunteer one time or for all seven weeks!
One of our new major donation sites this year is the Minneapolis Fire Department and they have 20 barrels to fill at their stations that require a weekly pick up. They have a great competition going with the St. Paul Fire Department to see how much food they can donate to their local food shelf and NorthPoint is delighted to be a recipient.
Our goal is 55,000 in dollars and pounds of food!

Description
NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center is a comprehensive health and human services agency located in the heart of North Minneapolis. NorthPoint is comprised of two organizations: a community services nonprofit with a broad array of social and human services (NorthPoint Inc.); and a full service community health center (NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center) that includes medical, dental and behavioral health clinics. NorthPoint seeks to reduce health disparities, improve health outcomes, and enhance the overall quality of life for all residents of North Minneapolis by providing high quality medical, dental and behavioral health care, along with integrated social services such as its food shelf, housing resources and domestic violence services -- with respect, dignity and sensitivity to a culturally rich and ethnically diverse community.
