It is our goal at Interim Hospice to provide excellent end-of-life support to each patient and family. Hospice volunteers are at the heart of our goal. Whether it is providing companionship to a person in the final months or weeks of life, offering support to family members and caregivers, providing assistance in the office, the contributions of volunteers are an essential part of our Hospice Program. Support for patients can include visiting and companionship, reading, taking walks, writing letters, visiting with pets, bringing in music, vigil presence, and respite relief. Support for the office includes faxing, filing, scanning and assisting the Hospice Office Coordinator with tasks and duties.
