We are Yellow Rose Hospice, a hospice agency based in Carrollton, and we are looking for all different types of volunteers to join our team. We specialize in caring for patients with terminal illnesses and their loved ones by providing supportive end-of-life and bereavement care. We have different opportunities available for volunteers, from direct patient care to providing respite care to caregivers, or even working in our Carrollton office. We even have opportunities for volunteers to share their creative gifts and interests with patients (e.g., singing, quilting, playing games, arts and crafts, painting nails, etc.). Scheduling is very flexible. We understand that life is busy; so, we can definitely work around work/school/life in general! Description
Yellow Rose began as a hospice agency in 2019. We are based in Carrollton, Texas, and we provide end-of-life and bereavement care to people all over the DFW metroplex. We believe each volunteer is a valuable team member and extremely important to the agency. We are committed to building and maintaining positive relationships with volunteers, and to providing them with positive guidance and adequate policies and supplies. We believe in the importance of caring for each patient with honesty, respect, and dignity by adapting to the needs of each patient, and providing individualized care.
