VITAS Healthcare is looking for musician volunteer able to devote some time for playing or singing for hospice patients living in long-term care facilities and their own homes. A musician volunteer is needed for a hospice patient residing in the Clayton area, 63105. VITAS Music Volunteers help patients reconnect with feelings and memories that can bring about a sense of peace and happiness. VITAS provides training on hospice philosophy and how to work with people at the end of life. The musician provides the talent, compassion and time. Assignments are made according to the volunteer’s preferred time and location.
