Hop on Pop and come celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday! Guests will join us for a special celebrity readers, enjoy theater performances, create Truffula trees and meet and greet with characters.
As a Guest Services Volunteer, some of your duties may include:
-Greeting and welcoming guests to the museum
-Providing guests with accurate information
-Directing guests to shows, activities, and other events within the museum
-Assisting museum educators with activities
-Assisting the theater crew with crowd control during show times
-Assisting the Development team during member appreciation events
-Facilitating art projects for children
-Ensuring an overall clean and safe environment for visitors
-Other duties assigned as needed

The Miami Children's Museum is a non-profit educational institution, which meets the needs of all children in our multicultural community. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to play together, learn, imagine and create. The museum offers interactive exhibits, programs, and learning materials related to arts, culture, community and communication.
Founded in 1983, the Miami Children's Museum is dedicated to enriching the lives of all children by fostering a love of learning and enabling children to realize their highest potential. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to play together, learn, imagine and create. Located on Watson Island, the 56,500-square-foot facility includes 14 galleries, classrooms, parent/teacher resource center, Subway restaurant, KidSmart educational gift shop and 200-seat auditorium. The museum offers hundreds of bilingual, interactive exhibits; programs and learning materials related to arts, culture, community and communication.
