Job Description: Writer: Stories
Job Description: Write for Doing Good and serve on the The Creative Team. Writing will share stories of passion and making a difference as well as about the organization itself.
Time Involved: 3-4 hours/month including the 1-hour monthly committee meeting held via Zoom.
Responsibilities
- Listen/watch raw footage of volunteers being interviewed elsewhere (such as on the podcast or on video) and write their stories.
- Write blog posts/articles about vounteers actively making a difference and/or press releases about Doing Good and its activities.
- Brainstorm writing ideas with the The Creative Director and Executive Director.
- Partner with Doing Good committees and volunteers.
- Participate in monthly Creative Team meetings held via Zoom.
- Use Google Drive and Trello. Be willing to learn if not already comfortable with them.
