Job Description: Strategize and implement Doing Good social media.

Time Involved: Approximately 5 hours/month.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Social Media Committee.

Activities

Those who have especially enjoyed and successfully held Assistant Director positions are those who work in project management and/or are seeking project management experience.

  • Partner with the Social Media Director.
  • Manage the operations of the Social Media Committee.
  • Coordinate the social media efforts of Doing Good. Campaigns and cross-promotion of Doing Good activities are encouraged.
  • Participate in the monthly Social Media Committee call to share, discuss, strategize, plan, and carry out Doing Good social media activities.
  • Participate in monthly Doing Good Operations conference call to share, discuss, and strategize needs for upcoming Doing Good activities with others throughout the nonprofit.
  • Use Google Drive.
  • Willingness to learn Hootsuite and/or AirTable.

The Doing Good website is live but not part of the Social Media Committee’s responsibility.
