The Melanoma Research Alliance (MRA) is looking for volunteers to assist us at our 2020 Scientific Retreat, February 25 through Friday, February 28. The retreat brings together physician scientists, pharmaceutical and biotech representatives, government officials, and patient advocates to present and discuss emerging ideas and issues shaping melanoma research from bench to bedside.
This event cannot happen without the help of amazing volunteers. Please share this with anyone who may be interested in helping out. All volunteers will be allowed to sit in on the general retreat sessions before or after their shifts.

Tuesday, February 25
1:00pm-4:00pm Gift Bag Stuffing
3-4 Volunteers (with MRA Staff)

2 volunteers for general assistance (directing to room, etc.)

1 volunteer to assist staff and shuttle in/out researchers with conflicts that that to step out of the room

Description
MRA is also focused on increasing public knowledge about the seriousness of melanoma, urging people to protect themselves from the sun’s damaging rays, avoid indoor tanning, and be aware of changes in their skin.
