Technology Instructor - How to use Hulu and Disney+

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Oasis Institute

  • 3 people are interested

San Diego Oasis is a nonprofit 501c3 that offers lifelong learning opportunities to older adults throughout San Diego. Each year, we offer more than 2,400 educational classes across San Diego County.

We’re in need of new technology instructors to meet the growing interest among our members to become more fluent in today’s technology.

Are you familiar with Hulu and Disney+? We’re looking for someone to design and teach a class which will provide a step-by-step demonstration on how to navigate the menus, create favorites, perform searches, etc.

Generally, our workshops are scheduled Mon-Fri, with a start time of 10:00, 1:00 or 3:00. Our facility, which is fully A/V equipped, is located in the Grossmont Center Mall.

Please let me know if you're interested. We can communicate via email or you can give me a call. My office hours are Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00, (858) 227-8999.

I look forward to connecting with you,

Brandon Harding

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 25
  • Orientation or Training
  • The time commitment is flexible. Creating the presentation can be done remotely. In-class, workshops are generally 90 minutes - 2 hours. I would like to schedule the workshop three times - once in May and twice in July or August.
  • Teaching experience is great, but not required. Since we work with older adults who are not tech savvy, instructors will need to demonstrate patience and have a great attitude.
