Kindred Hospice - Our Care Matters

Are you a Veteran who has a heart for serving others?
Working with individuals at the end of life can be a truly heartfelt experience for many; And Kindred Hospice Illinois is in need of Veteran Volunteers that are up or the task.

*Our office is located at 1325 Remington Rd, Suite L, Schaumburg, IL 60173; However, we are currently looking for volunteers to meet the expected need of patients in the Carpentersville, Elgin, McHenry, Huntley, Woodstock and Pingree Grove areas.

Veteran Support Services May Include:

  • Visiting patients at home or Senior Community
  • Having a cup of coffee and shared conversation
  • Reading a story or playing cards
  • Light meal prep
  • Providing relief for a few hours while the family rests or runs errands
  • Delivering supplies
  • Playing music or musical instrument

Kindred Hospice Schaumburg is a level 3, We Honor Veteran participant.
