During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Hospice is about providing additional support to patients and their families. One of the many ways that we express our care is through weekly calls, or "tuck-ins". Tuck-in Calls are used to check-in with the patient and family, follow-up about questions or concerns, or in some cases, to offer friendly conversation.
We are seeking warm individuals willing to shine their light in the lives of our patients.

At Amedisys Hospice we empower our patients to live each day of their lives fully by offering comfort, dignity, and quality of life. Our patient-centered care aims to support patients through a multi-faceted approach: physically, mentally, and psychosocially.
As an organization, we strive to provide the highest level of care possible to our patients and their families. In doing so we have developed programs to address the various needs of those under our care. Most notably our veteran's program and dementia care program.
Our We Honor Veterans Program endeavors to meet the unique challenges faced by those who served in the armed forces. By recognizing their unique contributions, giving them the space and opportunity to give voice to their stories, as well as provide them the socialization and companionship of veteran volunteers. Each year pinning ceremonies take place to honor and uplift these amazing individuals.
Our Dementia Program offers specialized support to our patients. Whether it be the use of condition-specific implements to ease day to day tasks, chart-a-life posters to help document patient narratives and facilitate conversation, or items for use in aiding in calm.
We'll work with your schedule.
