The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program is looking for volunteers to bring the joy of music to older adult clients who attend an adult day program in Ann Arbor.

Role Description
Volunteers play portable instruments such as guitar for clients to enjoy. This organization has a piano on site that volunteers may utilize as well.

Time commitment
At least one day per month for 1-2 hours.

Qualifications
Volunteers must be willing to undergo a full day of training as well as shadow staff during a program session. Volunteers should be compassionate and patient. Having experience working with adults who have dementia or other forms of memory loss is a plus but not required.
