What is the HA.P.I Conversation Club?
A lively and fun environment where our advanced Latino adult students get a chance to practice speaking English with native English speakers. This is often their only opportunity to put what they have learned in school into practice.
We are looking for passionate community volunteers to lead small groups of students in conversation and to help them learn by correcting pronunciation, explaining vocabulary words, providing encouragement, and a safe space for them to practice using English.
No Spanish knowledge required!
Our students cannot wait to meet you! :)

Mission Statement
HA.P.I (HAblar Para Integrar, which means "speak to integrate"), is a first-of-its-kind, women-led nonprofit that educates, lifts, and empowers adult Latino immigrants via a transformative social, educational and cultural integration program, rooted in forward-thinking methods, individual support, diversity & inclusion. We are the only immigrant-founded school in Arizona, solely dedicated to integrate underprivileged Latino adults through intensive English language training and civic engagement.

We are located in Tempe, Arizona at the Westside Center. We specialize in training non-english speaking Latino adults in the English language, digital communication and civic engagement. We offer different levels and have a dedicated team of teachers and teacher's assistants.
