Join us for this event at Mobius Science Center!
Girl Scouts (Cadet level, 6th-8th grade) will come to MSC to earn two STEM badges: an Itron Resourcefulness Badge and a Space Science Researcher Badge.
You will run hands-on space-themed or water/energy-themed stations to help the girls earn their badges.
All science content is at a middle school level, so it's nothing to be scared of! We will train you on your activity when you arrive. If you have a particular interest in one of the badges, please let us know and we will do our best to assign you to an applicable station.
Some examples of activities include:
- Green Energy Snap Circuit projects
- Macroinvertebrates and water quality testing with the Water Resource Center
- Explore visible and invisible light, learn how NASA uses UV/infrared technology to study objects in the universe
- iPad stargazer apps to study the night sky
- And many, many more!
