Acres of Hope is located on a beautiful tree-studded 3.5 acre site in Auburn. We are in constant need of minor maintenance (handyman) tasks for our interiors and exteriors of our buildings, grounds, and landscape. We have a small fleet of cars that we use to transport our residents that need to be inspected periodically to identify any care and maintenance needed to keep them running smooth and safely. To keep our costs low, we depend on volunteers to help keep our campus and small fleet of vehicles looking great and operating safely and efficiently. Volunteering to help with our campus and fleet requires someone with a knowledgeable eye and skills to address all the variety of issues that can arise - both scheduled and unscheduled - in a typical "residential" environment (minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, landscape and vehicle maintenance).
