Bailey’s Shelter and Supportive Housing (BSSH), which opened on November 13th, is the first facility of its kind in this area. It combines a 52-bed emergency shelter with an 18-unit permanent supportive housing program. The organization that operates it - New Hope Housing - is a non-profit that has been working to end homelessness in Northern Virginia since its founding in 1977.
Volunteer-led classes and activities have become popular as different community members have come in and shared what they know and love. If you have any interest in teaching a class, facilitating a group, or leading a regular social event, please respond with a short message.
