Do you have spare time that you would like put your talents and joy to put good use? Then we have an opportunity for you! We are looking for volunteers who have a compassionate heart, that are friendly, enjoy making a difference in your community in the Rome area. Patient support volunteers offer support visits, companionship and emotional support during friendly visits. Volunteers receive specialized training, on going training and volunteer hours are flexible based on your availability. Their various needs are Pet therapy teams, art enrichment, vet to vet volunteer options and many more programs. This is ideal for anybody who interested, who had a loved one on hospice services, retired, or interested in the medical field ( social worker, nursing, premedical students, human services and psychology, and internships).

Hospice of Chattanooga begin in 1981 as an all-volunteer agency. Today, it is the community's oldest hospice and volunteers remain a vital part of our agency. As we continue to grow, our need for volunteers grows also!
