Kentucky Science Center is looking for volunteers to assist with our face painting booth during ThunderBlast on Saturday, April 18. The event is held in conjunction with Thunder Over Louisville and offers families a day of fun and a riverside view of the Thunder Over Louisville air show and fireworks display.

Volunteers are needed to make the event a success! Your support helps to keep our "science matters" movement moving forward as we spread beyond the walls of our building and into the region. As a volunteer, you will receive free admission to the event, free parking, and access to all the activities. We also invite you to stay after your shift and enjoy the fireworks with us. You can also invite your family and friends to volunteer with you!

GUESTS AT THUNDERBLAST WILL ENJOY:

  • Food and beverage vendors
  • Indoor and outdoor activities for children and adults:
  • Face Painting
  • Giant Board Games
  • Maker Space Activities
  • Science Shows
  • Science In Play exhibit

  • A riverside view of the Thunder Over Louisville air show and fireworks display inside a secure outdoor and substantially covered area, reserved for ThunderBlast guests only.
