These tender native seedlings haven't had more than a tiny splash of rain since they were planted this winter. Join the crew and have some fun giving their roots a big drink of water and your good vibes for thriving in this fire restoration site.
Easy access by car on an (old) paved road. We'll be at elevation in winter, so bring warm layered clothing, sturdy boots, warm hat, lunch and water. We'll have some refreshments to share.

Habitat Works is a volunteer environmental stewardship organization, improving wildlife habitat in Southern California's forests, wildlife refuges, state parks and private preserves.
Description
Habitat Works hosts single-day habitat restoration projects, weekend campouts and backpacking trips in Southern California's precious National Forests, private preserves and State and National Parks. Volunteers learn about our own local ecology, native flora and fauna and the challenges they face, and have the hands-on opportunity to improve conditions in Southern California wildlife habitat. Spend time in nature while making a difference - caring for our natural environment. We look forward to meeting and working with you soon!
