Do you have passion for the care and safety of animals? If so, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, knowledge, and understanding about the proper collection of stray, neglected, abandoned or unwanted animals; and ensure that citizens follow animal control laws and regulations. The Auxiliary Animal Services Representative will assist our Animal Control Officers with code compliance through license verification and education over the phone.
- Proficiency in public communication or public speaking
- Knowledge of computer systems
- Knowledge of legal terminology, grammar, spelling and math
- Knowledge of recordkeeping practices and procedures
- Ability of learn animal licensing and animal control enforcement procedures pertaining to license and compliance
