Clear Blue Sea (CBSea) is a San Diego nonprofit startup dedicated to cleansing the oceans of plastic pollution. One of our main efforts is to educate the public about ocean plastic pollution and advocate for solutions to address this problem, especially with younger generations as they will face environmental conditions in their lifetimes.

We are looking for volunteers or inters to participate in our merchandising coordinator position to educate ta public audience on topics relevant to the problems and solutions of plastic pollution, including Clear Blue Sea's innovation FRED, the Floating Robot for Eliminating Debris, and our Internship Program. This position offers flexible work hours with specific roles and responsibilities defined in collaboration with the (CBSea) team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Fulfilling orders for CBSea merchandise as received via our on-line store
• Assisting in ensuring CBSea merchandise in safely and securely protected
• Maintaining status and generating reports on inventory sold on CBSea's on-line store
• Assessing manufacturers of CBSea products on the basis of their sustainable practices and cost-competativeness
• Participating in developing purchase orders for securing more inventory as needed
• Writing press releases and articles to be published on our website and other media outlets
• Tracking CBSea articles produced and external articles written about CBSea
• Collaborating with CBSea project teams and leadership to ensure alignment with CBSea's mission
