Are you artistic? Do you love interacting with people and encouraging their creativity? We want to hear from you!
Bailey’s Shelter and Supportive Housing (BSSH), which opened on November 13 th, is the first facility of its kind in this area. It combines a 52-bed emergency shelter with an 18-unit permanent supportive housing program. The organization that operates it - New Hope Housing - is a non-profit that has been working to end homelessness in Northern Virginia since its founding in 1977.
Volunteer-led art events have been very popular in the past and we would like to make them more frequent. If you have any interest in teaching a class, facilitating open studio, or leading a social painting event, we would love for you to get in touch!

Founded as Route One Corridor Housing in 1977, New Hope Housing provides homeless families and individuals shelter and opportunities to seek a better life.
Description
New Hope Housing is the largest provider of shelter beds in Northern Virginia. In addition to shelter, we provide our residents with opportunities to better their lives through case management, life skills courses, recreational activities for children and adults, parenting classes, GED tutoring and our Employment Resource Center.
