During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Every year hundreds of bags of trash are collected from the Sanctuary’s properties with the help of volunteers. This year we want to start keeping track of the kinds of trash we find to gain a better understanding of the problem. We need citizen scientists like you to help with the data collection! Join Jug Bay staff every Saturday, starting March 7th, from 9am - 11am to pick up trash and collect data. Groups, individuals, and families welcome. Ages: 8 and older. Rain or shine, dress for the weather and bring a water bottle. Please download the app Clean Swell before the Cleanup in order to input your data. You will be making a direct impact on the Sanctuary and the data collected will be used to increase awareness through education and promote better management to address the trash issue at Jug Bay.
