Town Creek Dixie Youth Inc is committed to providing a fun and competitive environment for all youth, ages 3 to 12, to participate in traditional team sports regardless of financial status, ability, race, sex, or religion. We encourage participation, seek willingness, and model the values of honesty, respect, courage, and teamwork to instill these qualities in the future leaders of the community.

Description

Town Creek Dixie Youth (TCDY) has provided baseball and softball to local youth in southeastern NC for nearly four decades. From the local, league level to Dixie Youth National, we are a volunteer only organization that relies heavily on the support of the local community.

TCDY is proud to be the home of the 2019 NC Dixie Softball CHAMPIONS in both the Angels (10U) and Ponytails (12U) age divisions. Both teams represented NC in the 2019 Dixie Softball World Series.

Although smaller compared to neighboring leagues, TCDY is slowly growing and becoming more competitive. The league has benefitted greatly from our small size as we are more of a family where everyone knows each others children and cares about their success both on and off the field.

TCDY appreciates the support of local citizens and businesses over the years and to pass on the spirit of service to others, developed Town Creek Gives Back! in 2017. This annual service project allows all members to engage in projects that give back and support youth plagued by food insecurity in our community.

The league is thrilled to host the 2020 NC Dixie Youth Baseball State Tournaments for both Coach Pitch 8U and Minors 10U this July. To succeed, extra community support through volunteerism and sponsorship is essential.
