AARP Ohio is Searching for our next State President - Could it be you?
Are you a passionate, strategic thinker with outstanding leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and inspire others? If so, this is the perfect role for you! AARP Ohio is conducting a statewide search for the position of State President, AARP’s top volunteer position at the state level. This position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your considerable skills and experience to make a positive difference in the lives of Ohioans age 50+.
The AARP Ohio State President:
- Helps shape our education and advocacy efforts in Ohio
- Partners with the State Director and works with staff and volunteers to help achieve AARP's vision, mission and strategic priorities within Ohio
- Acts as the principal volunteer spokesperson for AARP in Ohio, communicating AARP's messages statewide
- Has the opportunity to build networks and partnerships with organizations and key Ohio decision-makers that will endure long after their term in office
