Hello, we are looking for a facilitator for our Alzheimer's Caregiver Support Group at the Utah Pride Center. You would be a co-facilitator so you would be over the group once a month. The volunteer should be aware that they may be working with people who are either LGBTQ themselves or they may be caring for someone that is LGBTQ. You should have an understanding of the LGBTQ community. If you don't have an understanding of pronouns, terminology, etc., we are happy to provide cultural competency training for you.
It meets on the 2nd Friday of each month from 6:00 - 7:00 PM at the Utah Pride Center. If you are interested please contact Moriah at memason@alz.org.
