Join Junior Achievement as a classroom volunteer. Become a mentor to one classroom as you go through five sessions of our fun financial literacy and work readiness curriculum.

We provide the lessons, you provide the enthusiasm! No teaching experience required.

Notes:

• You will be trained virtually or in person and given a set of lessons and activity materials for your class.
• This is a one day opportunity from 8:00am-1:30pm.
• The teacher will be in the classroom with you, so you will have support.

About Junior Achievement of Southern California

We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating students about financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship. We offer curriculum for grades K - 12, which aligns with Common Core Standards for Math, English and Language Arts. JA curriculum is delivered by volunteers or parents. JA volunteers are not only trained and prepared to teach the JA curriculum to students, but they are also encouraged to share their life and work experience with the students to bring the curriculum to life. Every year, we prepare and inspire almost 60,000 Southern California students to succeed in the global economy.
