Every 40 seconds, a person dies by suicide. That is one million people worldwide every year, and 90% of those people have an underlying mental illness.

Breaking Taboo wants to help change that.

We are a Non-profit organization dedicated to breaking the stigma attached to Mental Illness and providing critical education to the public on Suicide Prevention. We aim to kill the silence and SAVE LIVES in the process.

This is where you come in!

We are currently in need of volunteers who will help raise funds for Breaking Taboo.

This will entail:

3. Posting to social media about Breaking Taboo's mission.

1. Someone with the Willingness to break the taboo.
2. Someone with the Enthusiasm to make a difference. 3. A person who can maintain weekly communication with our Volunteer Coordinator and Founder.

Whatever you love to do, tell us and we got you! Our goal is to make Volunteering seem less like work and more fun. You will be doing something you love to do for an important cause, and at the same time making a difference in the community. This is your chance to give back, and in return, gain a sense of purpose while playing a role in the effort to change how society views mental health and suicide education. This is a unique opportunity in the sense that it is remote, and applicants are welcome from anywhere in the country and all over the world. Come join team Breaking Taboo! Together, we can make mental health just as important as physical health. Together, we can Kill Silence & Save Lives.
