Thank you for your interest in serving on our Board of Directors or Advisory Council. Elder Options accepts applications to fill vacancies as openings become available. Applicants should have an active interest in social and nutrition programs that benefit elders. Members serve on a voluntary basis without pay.
For county openings, applicants must be a resident of the county. For At-Large openings (if any), applicants must be a resident of one of the counties in Elder Options’ service area: Alachua, Bradford, Citrus, Columbia, Dixie, Gilchrist, Hamilton, Hernando, Lafayette, Lake, Levy, Marion, Putnam, Sumter, Suwannee, & Union.

Elder Options serves as the Area Agency on Aging and as an Aging & Disability Resource Center for Mid-Florida serving a sixteen county area including the following counties: Alachua, Citrus, Columbia, Marion, Hernando, Lake, Sumter, Suwannee, Lafayette, Dixie, Union, Gilchrist, Putnam, Levy, Bradford, & Hamilton.
Our goal is to provide easy access to information and resources to help elders remain in their homes and communities.
