Community Action NOW! Inc. in partnership with the Conyers Rockdale Caribbean Association inc is hosting the 1st Annual Caribbean Music & Food Festival that will take place in Conyers, GA. This is a charitable event that supports disaster recovery in the Caribbean and provides scholarship opportunities to at risk youth in the Rockdale County community.

This is event will take place on Saturday June 27, 2020 from 10 am - 7pm. Event volunteers are needed from 8am to 7pm.

Event volunteers are needed as greeters, parking lot attendants, sign holders and other general volunteer assistants throughout the day's events. We anticipate about 1, 500 people in attendance. This is a cultural event that includes loud music in a very diverse setting. We are seeking volunteers that are friendly, outgoing, energetic and able to walk / stand for long periods of time AND that have a great appreciation for Caribbean / Latin culture.

  • We require all volunteers to commit to the following schedule: 7/20 - 10-12am 7/26 event rehearsal 5:30-7:30pm and Event Day 7/27 8am- 8pm
  • This event will take place outside. Sneakers are required. Volunteers will receive event volunteer t-shirt and meals provided throughout the day
