CoachArt Goes Online!

We’re using online tools to continue to offer free arts and athletics programming to families impacted by chronic illness and to give our community new opportunities to make a difference.

Patients in children's hospitals have access to great adaptive arts and athletics programs. But what about when they leave the hospital and are getting outpatient treatment at home?

CoachArt matches kids impacted by chronic illness with volunteers like you teach students virtually and do 4 personalized one-hour lessons in ANY arts or athletics activity they want to learn.

We have a new platform called CoachArt Connect where you can:
- complete the online training
- see a map (and list) of all the CoachArt kids in your area and what activities they want to try
- schedule a match directly with the parents on the platform

Mission Statement

CoachArt’s mission is to create a transformative arts and athletics community for families impacted by childhood chronic illness.

Description

CoachArt is a non-profit organization offering free lessons in the arts and athletics to children impacted by chronic illness, ages 5-18. Our vision is that one day every family impacted by chronic illness will be connected to a community of support and an opportunity to learn and grow together.

We partner with talented volunteers and arts/athletics programs to offer lessons in music, art, yoga, photography, dance, soccer - and more! Our CoachArt team matches each individual child with our volunteers and program partners, who provide 8 week lessons in a shared activity of choice.
