Partnerships With Industry (PWI) is a nonprofit providing vocational opportunities, assessment, training and on-going support to individuals with developmental and other disabilities, including by not limited to: Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum, epilepsy, visual and hearing impairments, physical disabilities, and mental illness.

Established in 1985, PWI proudly serves 650 people with disabilities each day so they can be successful in the workforce and share their many talents and ABILITIES impacting our economy and our community. PWI is looking for a webmaster that can enhance and improve our current website.

Webmaster Volunteer Description

We are looking for a skilled Webmaster to manage our organization's web presence. The Webmaster will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring PWI website is functional, user-friendly, visually pleasing, and up-to-date.

To be successful as a Webmaster you should be able to work well in a team, collaborating with CEO, COO and other management. As an exceptional Webmaster, you should have excellent technical skills and a good understanding of creative online marketing.

Webmaster Responsibilities:

• Determining client website needs and requirements.
• Building and testing aesthetic, functional and user-friendly website.
• Updating website with content and photos
• Implementing and ensuring website security and data protection
• Monitoring and analyzing site performance
• Updating website content and reviewing SEO
• Addressing and responding to user comments and complaints

Webmaster Requirements:

• Working knowledge of WordPress and related systems
• Working knowledge of programming languages and operating systems.
• Knowledge of website management tools
• Online marketing and SEO skills
• Knowledge of IT security needs
• Good collaboration skills
• Reliable and detail-oriented
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
