Bristol Hospice is seeking compassionate musicians to bring your unique musical gift to our patients. We are asking for those who can give one hour per week for one year to visit patients in care communities and in their homes. Our patients are located throughout the Denver metro area, so we are able to match our volunteers with a patient that is convenient for them. We currently have a need for a volunteer musician in Broomfield. Whether it's classical, gospel, jazz, big band, or pop, our patients' sense of well being is greatly enhanced by receiving the gift of live music. Whether instrumental playing or singing, our patients come to life when they encounter live music. Our Volunteer Coordinator provides excellent training and supervision, and is always available to answer questions, problem solve, and support our volunteers. Come and join our team of caring professionals to bring a greater sense of well being to those who are facing end of life, and you might find your feet tapping along, too!

Description
Bristol Hospice - Denver provides compassionate, competent care to patients enrolled with us for comfort care at the end-of-life. Our interdisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, CNAs, social workers, chaplains, and volunteers strives to meet the needs of our patients and their families in a holistic manner. We collaborate to enhance our patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Our service area includes the Denver metro area, from Castle Rock to Longmont. We visit our patients in their homes, assisted living, or skilled nursing communities.
