Lap blankets provide comfort and warmth to our hospice patients at the end of their life’s journey while providing a keepsake for their families to remember them by. Knit, crotchet or sew while visiting with hospice patients to provide them with socialization and companionship...receiving the "purls" of wisdom from them as they share their stories-What better JOY than to see them receive your comfort gift in person.

You can also create items at your own convenience(remote and virtually) and donate them to Alliance Hospice for our staff and patient care volunteers to deliver.

Contact Theo Eghdami to see how you can contribute your creative talents Teghdami@alliancehospice.com or 267.858.1088. Volunteers required to complete application, background check, TB & Drug test & hospice training FREE of charge if visiting directly with patients.
