I am working on putting a Health Fair together for the residents of St. Aloysius Apartments! We have approximately 15 agencies that have confirmed thus far. These agencies will be sharing various resources, services, and personal interactions with the residents. We are still in need of someone to donate refreshments and manage the refreshments area during the health fair. Refreshments can be prepared in the space, and need to be prepared for approximately 50 people. ( Refreshments ideas can be discussed if necessary.)
I would also like to find someone who would be willing to share some music with the residents. This could be an individual/group who sings, plays an instrument, or someone who dj's music. I'm thinking along the line of oldies music; something to pick up the mood in the room and lift spirits. Prizes will be available for the residents and they will earn entries to win these as they visit each booth ( donations are welcome also.)

Description
As a Service Coordinator, it is important that I help the residents stay active and independent. In order to do so, it is important for me to connect the residents with services and agencies in the community to help fit their needs. I try to schedule a variety of presentations and programs to visit our property to help keep the residents informed of what services are available to them and how to obtain them. The residents at St. Aloysius Apartments are very self sufficient and enjoy socializing. My goal is to make more contacts with the community and continue to bring in engaging and educational programs. It would be so wonderful to get each resident to participate in at least one program a month!

- The Health Fair will will be open to residents from 11am-1pm. I will need help with refreshment set up approximately 30 minutes before the event and 30 mins after the event.
- Looking for friendly and outgoing individuals to enjoy spending time with the residents and agency staff!
