Note: Only Canine Companions staff can sign contracts, rental agreements and similar documentation and may do so after review by the in-house paralegal.
  • Secure DogFest logistics (stage, sound system, port-o-potties, tents, tables, chairs, banner hanging, accessibility, etc.). Only Canine Companions staff can sign a rental agreement.
  • Recruit a Logistics committee to help with different elements on event day.
  • Recruit a Parking Chief to recruit and oversee a crew to assist with parking at DogFest.
  • Recruit a Security Chief to oversee crew that is in charge of security at DogFest.
  • Recruit a Chief to recruit and oversee a crew that is in charge of set-up and clean-up before and after DogFest.
  • Create a map/layout of DogFest so everyone knows where each element will take place
  • (placement of port-o-potties, stage, starting area, etc.).
  • Serve as the point person on event day for anything logistical, including signage at DogFest.
  • Hang sponsor banners at DogFest.
  • Work with volunteer recruitment chair to recruit groups of people to help with above mentioned functions.
