Carrying, committed, and outgoing volunteers needed to assist in varying capacities to support the pediatric oncology patients and their siblings.
Volunteer directly with the children and families at our Cool Kids Clubhouse in Huntersville, NC during monthly Movie Nights, Smile Celebrations (birthday parties, end of treatment celebrations etc.) and our quarterly themed holiday parties.
Volunteers are also needed on our development team assisting with community awareness and fundraising events.
Hours and days vary with opportunities. Flexible around your schedule.

Our mission is devoted to improving the quality of life for pediatric oncology patients and their families by focusing on the academic, social and emotional needs brought on by a cancer diagnosis.
Description
The Cool Kids Clubhouse supports the Coolest Kids Fighting Cancer through free programs and services for the children with Cancer, their siblings and parents:
- Professional, one-on-one online tutoring
- Virtual Programming to reduce isolation and loneliness of the immune compromised child
- Kids movie nights/parents’ night out
- Summer Drop Off Days at the Clubhouse
- Smile celebrations to honor the birthday or treatment milestone of a child with cancer at our Cool Kids Clubhouse
- Vacation condo in Myrtle Beach, SC
- Parent support groups
- Cancer lesson plans for teachers
- Crafts and lunch during treatment days at the hospital
- Care packages for families of newly diagnosed patients nationwide
