Four Corners Group (FCG) is looking to hire a dedicated Grant Writer to write grant proposals for our organization. The Grant Writer will write coherent, organized and compelling proposals. You will apply your knowledge of fundraising methods and plans to reach income goals. You will collaborate with team members in the organization to assist with other fundraising projects, and develop relationships with key stakeholders.

To ensure success you need to write well, have proficient knowledge of fundraising methods and be committed to the mission you are representing. Preferred applicants are deadline-driven team players with outstanding multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Research, identify and accumulate a store of potential funding resources
• Develop written proposals to funding bodies and oversee the process of initiating and maintaining contractual relations with funding resources
• Maintain awareness of FCG’s financial circumstances and objectives in order to optimize relations between FCG initiatives and funding bodies
• Oversee funding cycle in unison with grant donors
• Convey grant status to executive director and all relevant board members
• Displaying adherence to FCG’s mission.
• Furnishing prospective funders with supporting documents.
• Developing relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders.
• Maintaining proficient knowledge of FCG’s history and programs.
• Maintaining records in hard copies and computer databases.

1. Bachelor's degree in creative writing or related field.
2. 2+ years grant writing experience.
3. Proficient with measuring and reaching income goals.
4. Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel.
5. Excellent knowledge of fundraising information sources.
6. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
7. Strong people skills.
8. Excellent organizational skills.
9. Ability to meet deadlines.
