Brighter Children (BC) is a 501c Non-Profit organization.

Our mission is to find and fund local schools in order to give the gift of education to deserving children in some of the most impoverished communities in the world. Our Vision? Universal Primary Education. There are 250 million children today who cannot read, write, or do basic mathematics. Brighter Children currently works with partner schools in impoverished communities across Kenya, India, Colombia, and Honduras. We provide children who otherwise would have no opportunity for primary education or are at risk of dropping out of school with annual scholarships and access to quality education.

AdvisoryBoard Overview:

The AdvisoryBoard is one of the key volunteer pillars of Brighter Children's leadership, an organization designed to drive direction and impact, advising the Board of Directors on key programmatic and business initiatives in support of Brighter Children’s growth objectives. In addition to attendance of the quarterly Brighter Children Board Meeting, AdvisoryBoard members take on an advisory role via key aligned committees, working with aligned management and Executive Board members to support the progress of key business challenges and outcomes. At the same time, they aren't afraid to roll up their sleeves and leverage their network, expertise and time to help accelerate execution in a fast-growing start-up non-profit environment.
