Mission: Million Little is a nonprofit organization that supports the healing process of at-risk youth through the power of creativity. Please visit our website to learn more about what we do: www.MillionLittle.com
We are looking for volunteers to teach our youth video production skills (designing, producing, planning, creating, shooting and editing videos) and mentor them in a small group and/or one-on-one setting.
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Preferred some industry experiences, but not required
- Know how to use major video editing software
- Experience in filming short videos/ interview clips
- Know how to set up lighting and audio on set
- Some pre-production skills (designing, planning, etc)
- Most mentorship will take place in Pasadena, but may require driving to other sites to film (Los Angeles & Santa Clarita)
- Must be available on Saturdays to mentor our youth
- Require a minimum of 2 months commitment
Other Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older
- Pass our background check
- Ability to come to our site in Pasadena and sometimes different locations
