The Tahoe-Pyramid Trail sends a solicitation letter to our donors once a year (actual USPS mail). We need someone with the MS Office skills and printing capacity to perform a 500-name mailmerge from Excel to Word and print the resulting letters. Stuffing and mailing is handled by other volunteers.
A second outreach is done with Mailmerge and email to several hundred potential donors.
This is our biggest fundraiser of the year.

"Exploring the nature and history of the Truckee River at ground level" by building a 114-mile bike-pedestrian trail
Description
The Tahoe-Pyramid Trail is a vision of following the Truckee River by foot or by bicycle from its source at forested Lake Tahoe to its desert terminus, Pyramid Lake. The route will descend over 2000 feet in 114 miles, using a combination of existing dirt and paved roads, plus some sections of new trail and bridges. In 2019 the trail reached 80% completion.
