Hello,
We are always accepting applications for new Special Event Teen Volunteers at the Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens. Submit one of our online applications at https://www.jacksonvillezoo.org/volunteer-teen
Our Special Event Teens assist the zoo at all of our events year-round, including our two biggest events Spooktacular and Zoolights. Event duties vary greatly and we are looking for teens who can be flexible. This is a fun opportunity for any teen who is looking to gain community service hours for school!
We on-board new Special Event Teen volunteers four times a year. Please check our website for the next Info Session date.
Our ZooTeen program is also a great way to get more involved with the zoos conservation initiatives and summer camps. We accept new ZooTeen applications every February on our website and hold extensive training for these teens over the summer months. The bulk of this program is in the summer!
