Climate Action Pathways for Schools (CAPS) partners with schools to provide inspiring climate education programs and implement projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while saving money for the school district. We develop project-based learning programs to prepare students for highly skilled career pathways and help them develop projects that mitigate climate change. At the same time, these projects reduce operating costs for school districts. We aim our climate action program primarily towards under-resourced schools.
We are seeking your support for our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization's Fundraising Planning and Development. These efforts include:
- Research ideal funder profiles, identify potential funders and/or provide personal contacts (foundations, corporation, individuals) that could serve as potential donors
- Collaborate on the development of fundraising presentations and collateral
- Write proposals in response to targeted grant opportunities
- Support online and email fundraising campaigns
We need your support researching grants from potential funders to support the development of our project-based climate education programs. We're looking for help to find and engage targeted donors that could support our organization's projects and serve as the foundation for generating critical financial resources that are required to build and scale our nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate would also have experience with grant writing.
